Surge is a piece that is focused around energy consumption that purpose deals with possibilities of individual behaviour modification in regards to energy use. The medium is on iPad app that allows users to recreate their own home, complies a full report detailing what steps the individual can take to limit their own consumption. In addition, giving the user realistic tips that don’t require major life changes. Through simple interactions, aesthetically strong graphics, integrated social media and bite-sized pieces of relevant information, this project gives users both the tools and incentives to cut back on personal usage.
