  • Open up XCode
  • File -> New Project
  • Applications -> View Based Application
  • (Save wherever you want and whatever name … ex HelloWorld)
  • Click on Hello World – > Hello_WorldViewController.xib
  • Drag Label from Library, then type Hello World
  • Click on Run

  8. Installation is finished
  9. To launch the XCode software navigate to /Developer/Applications/XCode

  1. Navigate your web browser to http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/
  2. Click on Enroll Now
  3. Click on Continue
  4. Under New Apple Developer, select the first option if you need to create an Apple ID or the second option if you already have an Apple ID:
    • I need to create a new account and Apple ID for an Apple Developer Program.
    • I have an Apple ID I would like to use for my enrollment in an Apple Developer Program.
  5. Select if you are enrolling as an Individual or Company
  6. Sign in with your existing account or create a new one
  7. Select Program of your choice
  8. Follow through the next few steps:
    • Review and Submit your information
    • Agree to License
    • Purchase Program
    • Activate Program
  9. It can take a few days for Apple to accept you as a developer.
